Dan’s extensive experience in the insurance industry began upon his graduation from the Whittemore School of Business at UNH. After working seven years with a smaller agency, Dan started CGI in 1997 with a focused vision to revolutionize the way Employee Benefits are delivered. Through constant reinvestment and innovation, CGI has experienced exponential growth and is now the largest Employee Benefits firm in New Hampshire.

Dan is an active member not only in the insurance industry, but in the business community as well. He serves on the advisory boards of Harvard Pilgrim, Anthem BCBS and Tufts Health Plan and works closely with them in developing and implementing local product offerings.

In addition to being an influential leader, he is also committed to supporting the local community. Dan is involved in several philanthropic endeavors, and is honored to serve on several boards and committees across the state including The Moore Center, BIA of New Hampshire and NH Business Committee for the Arts.

Catharine is the Chief Human Resources Officer at CGI Business Solutions and President of CGI’s HR Consulting Division and has over 25 years of experience in the Human Resources field. In addition to her CHRO role, she currently manages the HR Consulting Division of CGI, which includes compliance, benefits administration and human resources solutions for CGI’s clients. She has a diverse background in the area of human resources, including compliance, staffing, employee relations, training, benefits, compensation and payroll. Catharine has utilized these skills in a variety of industries including banking, manufacturing, and technology firms.

She has served in a variety of volunteer leadership roles in her local chapter, on the state and national level with SHRM and recently served as the Northeast Membership Advisory Council (MAC) Representative, representing eleven states within the Northeast region. Her other volunteer roles include being Past-Director for the HR State Council of New Hampshire, the President of NAPBA (National Association of Professional Benefits Administrators) and is a on the Board of Trustees with Catholic Charities New Hampshire. In addition, Catharine is heavily involved with workplace advocacy efforts with SHRM, serving as an Advocacy Captain. Catharine has her bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication from the University of Central Florida and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) as well as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

David G. Langlois, CPP

David is a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) with the American Payroll Association. He has 25+ years of comprehensive experience in Payroll Administration. David joined the CGI team in February 2018 and oversees the entire Payroll Division. He has extensive knowledge in payroll processing, multi-state taxation, payroll conversions, HCM system integration and has also become well versed in ACA reporting requirements. David is an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service.

Prior to joining CGI, David spent the past 14 years as the Director of Operations for a locally owned Payroll Service Provider based in Manchester, NH with clients across 44 States, and previously served as the Corporate Payroll Manager for a national health care corporation headquartered in Boston, MA. David has a passion for payroll and understands the direct impact it has on individuals and business owners alike.

Dave is graduate from the University of New Hampshire Whittemore School of Business & Economics with a Bachelor’s of Science degree. Dave joined the CGI team in 2015 and oversees the Property& Casualty Division. With over a twenty years of insurance experience, Dave works with his Commercial Insurance clients as a consultative partner offering them sound strategies to manage business risk. He also holds his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.

Dave is a licensed insurance agent in property/casualty and life, accident and health. This dual licensure offers clients a one-stop solution to a full range of business exposures. Dave utilizes state-of-the-art technology that helps his clients pinpoint cost drivers in their workers’ compensation program, which can reduce losses and ultimately reduce premiums.

Prior to joining the Agency side in 2006, Dave supervised liability claims for MetLife Auto and Home Insurance. With this experience, Dave offers his clients comprehensive claims expertise and an in-depth knowledge of loss control practices. This allows him to help his clients better manage and reduce their risk. Dave works with middle-to-large commercial accounts throughout New England. He is an active member of several chambers of commerce and associations.

Ryan McLaughlin, CFP®, QPFC

With over two and a half decades of experience, Ryan is a respected financial planner with a proven track record of helping individuals and businesses reach their financial goals. He began his career in investment sales in 2000 before joining CGI in 2003, and since then has built a reputation for delivering expert financial advice and guidance.

As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Ryan offers a unique combination of technical knowledge, expertise, and commitment to his clients. He specializes in the review and implementation of 401(k) and retirement plans and provides comprehensive financial planning services to help his clients reach their long-term financial objectives. With his deep understanding of financial markets, his clients trust Ryan to help them make informed decisions about their finances and secure their financial future.

Ryan holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of New Hampshire and is licensed in life & health insurance. He is also FINRA Series 7, 63, 24, and 65 licensed, and holds the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant designation from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries.

Outside of work, Ryan lives in Bedford, NH with his wife Nichole and their son. As a family, they enjoy spending time at Lake Winnipesaukee in the summer and skiing in the winter. They are deeply rooted in their community and are committed to making the most of their free time and enjoying all that New England has to offer.
