Quarterly Seminar Series Hidden Resources: Introverts in the Workplace
presented by Mary Kimmel, LCMHC of MKS Performance Solutions, LLC
In modern corporate culture, we love extroverts. They are charismatic, assertive and outgoing. We look to them for leadership, value their opinions and hold them in high esteem. Meanwhile, introverts can get lost in the shuffle or be overlooked altogether because of their more quiet and reserved nature. Yet, who tends to be more thoughtful, thorough, and produce truly creative ideas? Introverts are a hidden treasure at all levels of corporate life. Some of their valuable characteristics are that they are good observers, think before they speak, pursue self-knowledge, and avoid drama. They also can be strong leaders for all of those reasons.
In this seminar we will learn:
- The differences between introverts and extroverts
- How to identify introverts in the workplace
- How to help them shine within your own workplace culture
- A new understanding of how to mine a valuable resource and uncover hidden treasures
Seminar will be held at:
The Derryfield, 625 Mammoth Rd, Manchester, NH 03104
For our clients outside of the Manchester area, we will be streaming this via our CGI Facebook page, more details are forthcoming.
